A teacher can communicate with his or her students easily by using common words because common words is always well known by students especially if they are at elementary level and even lower leve.

I think the teacher should not try to teach all common words it should be happen naturally; therefore it can remain permanently in their life maybe they make a connection with their experience or daily life.

I think we should not focus on vocabulary leaning explicitly because it can occur by focusing on reading text.

Students can be failed when they come across a not frequent word or high level word because it is difficult to guess what it means. Frequency always primes the lexical access so if a word is frequent easy to remember or guess.

It can may also depend on subject area. I mean, if a student does not know about medicine, s/he could not come up with an idea of what the meanings of word

Sometimes, I also trouble with the unknown word because words that I do not know the meaning are not frequent or the subject is not familiar to me.
