vocabulary profiling-1

Students can be failed when they come across a not frequent word or high level word because it is difficult to guess what it means. Frequency always primes the lexical access so if a word is frequent easy to remember or guess.

It can may also depend on subject area. I mean, if a student does not know about medicine, s/he could not come up with an idea of what the meanings of word

Sometimes, I also trouble with the unknown word because words that I do not know the meaning are not frequent or the subject is not familiar to me.
